They had not been responsible about paying respect to their mother tongue. Do you think you are responsible and respectful of your mother tongue? After reading and understanding the message in ‘The Last Lesson’, Write a letter to your mother telling her how you have neglected your mother tongue and what steps would you take from now on to learn and respect your language as part of your identity.
