Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and ParakeetAI d.o.o. (“we”, “us”), a company registered in Slovenia at Slovenska cesta 55b, 1000 Ljubljana (VAT SI96761202), for using TarkoAI. By creating an account or using TarkoAI you agree to them. Questions go to support@tarko-ai.com.

Who can use TarkoAI

TarkoAI is for students; the Android app is for ages 13 and over. If you are under 18, you need a parent or guardian's consent to use it, and they agree to these terms on your behalf (see parent consent). Keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for what happens in your account.

What TarkoAI does, and doesn't

TarkoAI reads the uploads and chapters you add and uses AI to make exam preps, lessons, flashcards, quizzes and practice tests, and to answer your questions.

• AI makes mistakes. It can misread a page, get a fact or a step wrong, or set a question your exam never would. Check anything important against your textbook and teacher.
• No guarantee of results. Practice tests follow the published exam patterns, but we can't promise what your exam will ask or what marks you will get.
• Not official. TarkoAI is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by CBSE, NCERT, the NTA or any school or board.

We keep improving TarkoAI, so features can change. We will tell you before removing something you pay for.

Your uploads and content

What you upload stays yours. You give us permission to store and process it only to run TarkoAI for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Only add material you have the right to use, such as your own notes or a book you study from, and nothing unlawful or harmful.

Fair use

Please don't:

• use TarkoAI to cheat in an exam while it is being sat;
• try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service, or scrape it;
• share your account or resell what TarkoAI makes;
• upload anything illegal, abusive, or someone else's private information.

We may limit or close an account that breaks these rules, and will tell you why.

Free and Pro plans

The free plan has daily and per-prep limits shown on the pricing page. Pro removes them and costs $25 a month or $120 a year; €25 a month or €120 a year in the EU, EFTA and the rest of continental Europe (not the UK, Turkey or the Caucasus); ₹480 a month or ₹5,760 a year in India; and $5 a month or $60 a year in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Indonesia, the Philippines and Nigeria. Prices go by where you are when you pay, plus any tax shown at checkout. Pro bought in the TarkoAI phone app costs what Google Play shows for your country.

• Renewal: Pro renews automatically at the end of each month or year, through UPI AutoPay or another method Stripe offers, until you cancel.
• Cancelling: cancel Pro bought on our website any time from your Profile (Pro bought in the phone app is cancelled with Google, below). Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for, then stops; you aren't charged again.
• Switching plans: moving between monthly and yearly is charged or credited for the time left.
• Price changes: we tell you before a new price applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first.
• Parents paying: a parent who pays from a link a student sends them pays for that student's Pro, under these same terms.
• Buying in the Android app: Pro bought in the app is sold and billed by Google Play through your Google account, and renews under Google Play's terms until you cancel it in Google Play's subscription settings before the period ends.

Refund policy

Try TarkoAI on the free plan first: it is the best way to know whether Pro is worth it for you.

• Unused Pro, within 7 days: if you ask within 7 days of your first Pro payment and haven't used anything beyond the free plan since paying, we refund it in full.
• Something broke on our side: if Pro didn't work because of a fault in TarkoAI, tell us within 30 days and we will fix it or refund you.
• Renewals: we don't refund a renewal or part of a period you have already started. Cancel before the renewal date to avoid the next charge.
• One refund per student: once you have had a refund, later purchases aren't eligible.

To ask for a refund, write to support@tarko-ai.com from the email on your account. Refunds go back to the method you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 working days. None of this limits the rights consumer law gives you where you live.

Pro bought in the Android app is paid to Google Play, so its refunds follow Google Play's policy: ask Google Play from your order history, or write to support@tarko-ai.com and we can refund it through Google Play under the rules above.

If you live in the EU or the UK, you can also withdraw from a new Pro subscription within 14 days of your first payment, as consumer law allows. Write to support@tarko-ai.com within those 14 days.

Closing your account

You can delete your account any time from your Profile, or from Settings in the phone app. That cancels Pro bought on our website and deletes your uploads and everything made from them. Pro bought in the phone app is billed by Google Play until you cancel it in Google Play's subscription settings. We can close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms.

Liability

We provide TarkoAI with care, but “as is”: we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as exam results, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you can bring a claim in the courts of Ljubljana or of your own country.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms we update the date at the top. For changes that matter, we tell you in the app or by email before they apply. If you don't agree, you can cancel and delete your account.
